What is bulk billing?
Bulk billing is great. It basically means that your visit to the doctor is free – you don’t have to pay any fees for your visit as long as you have your Medicare card.
Not all doctors have bulk billing for their patients so you will need to find yourself a good doctor’s surgery that has bulk billing and you will save yourself a lot of money. You can find out by just asking the receptionist or they sometimes have a sign saying ‘bulk billing available’.
