National Redress Scheme
This scheme acknowledges that many people may have been sexually abused in institutions such as out-of-home care, education settings and many more. The scheme provides a monetary payment, acknowledgement that the abuse happened including an apology, and access to counselling. The cheme will run until 30 June 2028. A number of services in SA have been funded to provide support.
